Splashed in puddles on Saturday.

The joys we discover, when we take the time to look…

She’s having SO much fun. I love to do this, but outgrew my purple boots!! Actually my favorite is run through the leaves. It’s great to see her exploring and investigating.

    The world through a child’s eyes….how wonderful!!

  5. Ahhhhhh I remember those days my youngest son used to have a pair of yellow boots and wore them everywhere and his robin hood outfit complete with cape.

She looks adorable! I’d feel more secure about the weather if this were the end of February. As it is, I keep waiting for Old Man Winter to wake up and make up for lost time.

    • Amen to that. The hammer will fall, and hard.
But, if we have too many more days like today – almost 60 – I’m planting peas. What’s the worst that could happen? Replanting in April? I was gonna do that anyway…

Marie, I am just amazed at the incredible gift you have been given! The days you spend with this beautiful child will be some of your most precious treasures……but I think you already know that. ;-)

I love the purple gumboots, too cute, as is the one in them. Amazing how much fun a puddle can be to little ones.

I took a moment out of the office today to splash in a few puddles myself! Looks like she has a great Grandma :)

  10. Who needs snow when you have fabulous purple boots and a nice big puddle or two! It’s all relative, especially to a two-year-old, clearly. :)

  11. I still sneak the odd stomp in a puddle. Simply irrresistable. Just wish I had some purple wellies!
