June is Bustin’ Out All Over

A bloomin’ gallery, from my bloomin’ yard…

The front beds are coming to life, with lamb’s ears and daisies bobbing in the breeze…

The peonies are having their best year ever…

This one has a blushing bud, that opens to pure white… I don’t know the varieties, they’ve been here longer than I have…

The prettiest rhododendron on the whole Island is in my yard… The overhanging branch is a Kousa dogwood…

You have to come close to see the leopard spots in their throats…

Down by the pond, the buttercups glow in the dappled sunlight…

On the other side, a clump of yellow flag iris…

And the daisies at the door greet you, coming and going…

  1. Spring is just an exciting time in the garden, I can’t wait for it here. We have been having lots of foggy mornings with the occasional frost thrown in. It looks beautiful with all the colour.
