Wildlife Wednesday: The New View From the Back Field

Saturday afternoon, the back field camera was moved to its new home in the middle of the clearing.

Don’t strain your eyes; there’s nothing to see in that shot. It just shows the position of the camera.

Yesterday, we pulled the memory card (Thanks, James!). 890 images. Mostly of the wind blowing the trees.

And rabbits. I don’t really want to see any more rabbits – do you?

There were two images worth sharing:

A very large crow.

And a very blurry coyote.

After the sun comes up, I’m going to try to reposition it.

  1. It’s still a good look at your cleared field. I especially like the coyote. I can just imagine the rabbits everywhere!!

  2. Your new camera location will soon pay off, I’m sure. I bet your actors have yet to adjust to the area’s new look. Once they do, they’ll be back in full-force and you’ll find scanning 900 photos more rewarding. (I certainly hope so for your sake!)
